2010 Calendar and Class Schedule

1-12-2009

The following is a provisional calendar and schedule. Please appreciate that contractual arrangements with the Philip Island Group (World Superbikes) are still being finalised.

International Entertainment Group has enjoyed their first season as the official Australian Championship promoters. During trying times we have kept entry fees and practice day charges down, re-introduced prize money and television coverage- including live races at MotoGP.

As we prepare for the 2010 season there will be various changes, however we can confirm television (54 hours of television + repeats, divided between three stations) and prize money as well as increased coverage via a number of V8 Supercar rounds.

# These rounds are subject to change pending final negotiations. We are currently finalising all relevant contracts and seek to have the final calendar approved within two weeks. The possible changes include; (1) a track change with Broadford and or Queensland’s 2nd standalone round (2) an additional round with the V8 Supercars instead of World Superbikes. As at December 2009, it is more likely that ASBK will compete at WSBK in February.
