Stunt Rider ‘Lukey Luke’ remains official ASBK performer in 2010
10-03-2010
The Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) will once again treat spectators to a brilliant and spectacular on-track Stunt Rider entertainment program during 2010.
International Entertainment Group (IEG) is excited to announce they have re-signed LLSTUNT Entertainment’s factory Triumph Stunt Rider “Lukey Luke” as the official Stunt Rider for the 2010 season.
Lukey Luke has been impressing spectators and fans at all types of events around the country and overseas since 2004. His shows include a range of tyre shredding burnouts, high speed "stoppies" and amazing circle wheelies.
This will be the second consecutive year Lukey Luke will be associated with ASBK, however 2010 will bring some exciting new changes to his shows. “I’ve got a few new tricks up my sleeve this year. Some of which include the awesome new Triumph Speed Triple, new Street Triple R and more”. Lukey says that later in the year fans will also witness something very special at ASBK rounds. “Triumph has given me a unique bike and opportunity which changes everything for me. My fans will not be disappointed!” Luke will offer more details closer to the final rounds of the series.
Lukey Luke has been factory backed by Triumph since 2008, and loves performing for Aussie motorcycle and V8 fans. “I love riding, love racing, and love performing for all the great ASBK followers at each event. I am really proud to be a part of the series again this year. ASBK is brilliant, and IEG have proved why it is the premier racing series in Australia.”
Ben Williams, Event Manager from IEG says “It’s great to have Lukey onboard again in 2010 as the ASBK official stunt rider. I think he is truly one of the best at stunting in Australia. We are always looking at ways to provide the fans with other aspects of entertainment at our events and I think Lukey Luke certainly helps us achieve this"
Lukey says fans will also have the opportunity each round to get up close and personal with the man and his machines, grab a signed poster or have a chat at his Triumph LLSTUNT tent. You can drop in to say hi or visit the website www.llstunt.com.
