CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

My biggest highlight was buying my first motorbike then going on to finish 3rd overall in the Ninja 300 Western Australian State Championship, all in the same year.

The following year I jumped onboard a 2013 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 and won a lot of Clubman races. I am now moving into the ASBK Superbike class which is a huge highlight for me.

PREVIOUS RESULTS

3rd overall in the 300 production class – 2015
1st in my grade for the year – 2015
On the podium almost every round for the Clubman 1000 – 2016
1st place for Clubman 1000 in the Kings of Wannaroo – 2016
x2 second places in Clubman 1000 – 2016
x3 third places in Clubman 1000 – 2016

GOALS FOR 2017

For both my first year in Superbikes and my first year doing the ASBK nationals I will be chasing a top ten overall for the season. Keeping a level head and smart hard racing I believe it will be possible.

SUMMARY OF FAMILY HISTORY IN THE SPORT

I am the first in the Quinn family to compete in motorcycle racing or any motor racing for that matter.

In saying that the day I was big enough to remove the stabilizers from my push bike I just wanted to go faster and faster on two wheels.

I have always had a huge passion for motorbikes but the opportunity only came up when I bought my first motorbike and made it onto a track in 2015.

IF YOU WEREN’T RIDING ROAD RACE, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?

Although my mate always thought I wanted to be a doctor because every time I cut myself and started bleeding I just superglued it…. So the Doctor thing didn’t work out for me.

But I love animals and would possibly have a little farm in the future. Until then the bikes are all I have time for right now.

WHAT CAN’T YOU LIVE WITHOUT?

Being Irish I love the cups of tea or a good pint of Guinness, can’t beat a good cuppa tae 🙂

TOUGHEST COMPETITION?

It will be my first year stepping into the Superbike class so it’s hard to say not knowing the riders but I’m sure I’ll figure it out pretty quickly.
