Lukey Luke set to dazzle in Queensland

The 2015 Yamaha Motor Finance ASBK Championship is set to light up the track in more ways than one this year, with confirmation that stunt rider Lukey Luke will be performing throughout rounds of the series.

The first glimpse the series will see of the country’s premier street bike stunt rider, will be at the second round being held at Morgan Park in Queensland from 10-12 April.

Luke has been performing full-time and professionally for over a decade, and is well known for his incredible and jaw-dropping feats on his KTM bikes.

Speaking about the fact that he will be wowing crowds at round two, Luke said he was looking forward to showing off some of his best stunts and being back amongst the ASBK fold.

“It’s exciting – it’s going to be good,” he said.

“I am looking forward to being a part of the ASBK series again – I have done it a few times now and it’s great for it to be back in the hands of Motorcycling Australia.

“I aim to please and my show is exciting, energetic and full of life. It’s a variation of wheelie tricks, burnout tricks, combinations and depending on the event and how we are feeling, we might get someone lucky involved in it too.”

So what can the crowd expect to see from Luke when he gets onto the track in Queensland?

“It’s not so much that I specifically have any set routines, it just sort of evolves.

“You see what works and see what doesn’t – see what flows and one trick goes into the next trick and you just sort of find your way.

“Every show is a bit different but I can guarantee that people have smiles on their faces at the end of it!”
