What bike/team/class are you competing in 2020? Sponsors?I am racing in the Supersport 300 and R3 Cup classes on a private Yamaha R3.

What does your training regime look like as you prepare for ASBK 2020?Predominantly cardio, which is split between distance running and mountain biking, body strength training a few times a week to improve muscular endurance
Worst thing about training? What exercise do you hate doing?I hate interval training! Lactic acid buildup while running fartlek or interval runs
Are you involved in any other sports or activities? i.e road cycling, triathlons, music, gardening.Racing is my life! I’m also quite keen on my running, bushwalking and mountain biking
Fun or interesting fact about youCrashed out of a 16 second lead on the penultimate turn whilst racing interstate for the first time at the International Festival of Speed
What’s your favourite thing about ASBK?The tight-knit and friendly community in the paddock.
Favourite ASBK track?Phillip Island – I love the size, speed and scenery of the venue
Who is going to be your strongest competition in 2020?The entire SS300 field is so close, so everyone on the grid!
What are your expectations for 2020?I would like to consistently run in the front pack in the top 10 or top 5
What is the one thing you can’t do without on race weekend?A chocolate bar at lunch time!
What song/music genre do you listen to or routine you do to get into the ‘zone’ before a race?I like to do some mindfulness exercises to empty my head and calm myself
Do you ride in any other discipline and how does this help with your racing (ie. Motocross, Trials,
Enduro, minimoto)?
I was racing motocross, which helped me become comfortable with the bike sliding
