ASBK Secures Dunlop Partnership for 2021 Supersport 300 Class

Dunlop has been secured as the 2021 Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK), Supersport 300 class sponsor. 

Dunlop are a world-renowned company with a heritage in racing stretching back more than 100 years.

Their race proven tyres have seen Dunlop collect more than 110 World Championship titles and have been a dominant force in motorsport in Australia for decades on both two and four wheels.


This new partnership with ASBK, further strengthens the Dunlop Supersport 300 class, a category with significant grid sizes, strong, tight handlebar-to-handlebar racing amongst its male and female riders, and one that provides endless action and excitement for race fans on track.

Motorcycling Australia CEO, Peter Doyle said he was excited to have Dunlop as the Supersport 300 class Naming Rights partner.

“When it comes to racing, Dunlop have a strong history in motorsport and the ASBK Championship as the class sponsor for the 2021 Dunlop Supersport 300 class is fantastic,” Mr Doyle said.

“To have Dunlop partner with us, is further evidence of the growth and strength of the ASBK Championship not only in the paddock, but through our international fans and TV audiences.

“The Dunlop Supersport 300 class always has capacity fields and is some of the most exciting racing to watch. Like us, I’m sure fans can’t wait to see the spectacular action on track at Round 2 of the ASBK Championship, March 12-14, Winton Motor Raceway.”


Dunlop Motorsport Manager, Robbie Bugden said: “Dunlop has a very long and proud history in motorsport, so we are very honoured to be able to come to a partnership agreement with the ASBK for the up and coming 2021 Championship”.

“To step in as the class sponsor of the Dunlop Supersport 300 category and to support entry level road racing in Australia is a really great fit for us at Dunlop.

“We have always looked to support not only our top-level Superbike riders, but we are always right behind the development of young talent as they make their way into the national road racing series.

“We have a strong presence in the Superbike class. And now with the new release of the Dunlop D213 for the 300 class we will also be looking to support this class, not only at a class sponsor level, but on the ground with full trackside support as well.”

Round 1 – Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, VIC, February 18-21 – Postponed.

Round 2 – Winton Motor Raceway, Benalla, VIC, March 12-14.

Round 3 – Wakefield Park Raceway, Goulburn, NSW, April 16-18.

Round 4 – Morgan Park Raceway, QLD, August 20-22.

Round 5 – The Bend Motorsport Park, Tailem Bend, SA, September 23-26.

Round 6 – Symmons Plains Raceway, TAS, November 4-7.
