Penrite the new naming rights partner for ASBK

By MA Media 0

Australian lubricants giant Penrite Oil is the new naming rights partner for the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK), extending its already significant commitment to local motorcycle competition into the nation’s premier circuit racing arena.

Penrite Oil will also continue as the naming rights partner of the Australian ProMX Championship in 2026, in what is a massive year for the Melbourne-based company as it celebrates 100 years of business excellence – a monumental milestone for the family-owned, Australian-made brand.

Penrite Oil has been a constant in the ASBK paddock over recent years with its sponsorship of Superbike stars Troy Herfoss, Cameron Dunker and Max Stauffer, but now its support for circuit racing has gone to the next level – and it all kicks off at Phillip Island from February 20-22 at round one of the 2026 Penrite Australian Superbike Championship.

The five-round 2026 championship then visits Sydney Motorsport Park (March 27-28), The Bend (May 1-3) and Morgan Park Raceway (May 29-31) before the grand finale at Queensland Raceway from June 26-28.

Penrite manufactures world-class lubricants and products for not only motorcycles but also cars, commercial vehicles, trucks, tractors and industrial equipment – all designed to withstand the harshest local conditions. Penrite’s motorcycle range includes oils, lubes, cleaners, grease, cleaning products and aerosols.

The company also takes pride in its Australian roots and commitment to local manufacturing, and has ‘Australian Owned’ certification – a program which advocates local job creation, innovation and investment opportunities.

In 2026, Penrite Oil’s centenary celebrations will include large-scale activations, promotions and events across Australia – which ASBK fans will also get the chance to immerse in.

There will also be exclusive 100th anniversary activities to provide a first-hand insight into what makes Penrite such a unique part of the Australian manufacturing landscape. Stay connected with Penrite’s social channels for all the latest updates on its centenary activities.
