LS2 Helmets and XAM Chains join Oceania Junior Cup for 2026-2027 seasons

By MA Media 0

The BLU CRU Oceania Junior Cup (OJC) will sport a fresh look in 2026 as riders from the grassroots racing academy join the LS2 helmet family.

Global stars such as MotoGP rider Fermin Aldeguer and Australians Senna Agius (Moto2) and Joel Kelso (Moto3) have represented the brand at the highest levels of motorcycle racing.

Whites Powersports, the Australian distributor for LS2, will exclusively supply helmets to the OJC grid for the 2026 and 2027 championships. In addition, Whites will provide XAM Chains for the fleet of Yamaha YZF-R15 motorcycles.

Since becoming LS2’s Australian distributor in 2017, Whites Powersports has worked closely with its dealer network to establish LS2 as a staple in the local market.

The brand continues to grow, making its mark in key racing arenas worldwide. In 2025, LS2 celebrated its first MotoGP victory when Aldeguer triumphed at the Indonesian Grand Prix, while Agius was victorious in two Moto2 races – including a masterful home success at Phillip Island.

Meanwhile, the Yamaha YZF-R15s will feature a new final drive in 2026 and 2027, thanks to XAM, a premium Japanese chain brand with deep roots in motorcycling.

Luke Mason, Group Marketing Manager, Whites Powersports:
“We’re thrilled to join the OJC program. These young riders have phenomenal talent, and supporting their first steps into professional racing is a privilege. We look forward to watching their growth and being part of their journey.”

Peter Doyle, CEO, Motorcycling Australia:
“I am delighted to welcome LS2 Helmets and XAM Chains into the 2026 and 2027 BLU CRU Oceania Junior Cup. It’s a sign of a healthy program when we can attract new partners and quality products, and I’m looking forward to seeing the junior academy riders deliver more grandstand entertainment in 2026.”
