MNSW to support wildcard entries for One Raceway ASBK round
Motorcycling NSW (MNSW) has launched a new initiative designed to strengthen the pathway from state-level circuit racing into national competition, with three NSW riders to be supported in round three of the 2027 Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) at One Raceway from December 4-6, 2026.
As part of the initiative, MNSW will sponsor three riders to compete as ASBK wildcard in the following categories:
- Supersport 300;
- Supersport Next Generation; and
- Superbike.
The program will aim to:
- Showcase a pathway from the NSW Road Race Championships into national-level competition;
- Promote participation and retention within NSW circuit racing;
- Increase exposure for MNSW and NSW riders on the national stage;
- Develop riders through mentoring, preparation, presentation and media engagement; and
- Establish a foundation for an ongoing rider pathway program beyond 2026.
A major addition to the initiative will be the involvement of three-time Australian Superbike champion Glenn Allerton, who will mentor the selected riders.
The selection process for the ASBK wildcards will be announced by MNSW shortly.
