2016 Pirelli ASBK contingency program announced

Link International offers competitors who choose to race on Pirelli tyres a contingency package for the 2016 Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Series in the Superbike, Supersport, Up to 300 Production class and also the new R3 Cup class.

In addition to the Pirelli Tyre Service and technicians available to support riders who choose to race on Pirelli in the 2016 Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul Pirelli, Australian Importer Link International is pleased to announce a contingency program for the 2016 season ahead for all privateer riders.

With Pirelli confirmed as the Official Tyre partner of the ASBK, Link has provided a contingency package aimed at supporting privateer riders in all classes with the costs of racing in the premier road racing championship. This runs in conjunction with special reduced tyre pricing for ASBK competitors, if they chose to race on Pirelli tyres.

1st Outright per round    1 set tyres foc
2nd outright per round    1 tyre foc
3rd outright per round    1 tyre foc
The above commitment is equivalent to approximately $1000 value each round and therefore totals $6000 for the championship.

Pirelli Contingency in Supersport Class:
1st Outright per round    1 set Pirelli tyres foc
2nd outright per round    1 Pirelli tyre foc
3rd outright per round    1 Pirelli tyre foc
Value of $1000 each round totalling $6000 for the championship.

To be eligible for any contingency Riders must register by completing the Pirelli Contingency Registration Form found at the bottom of this press release, prior to round 2 Wakefield Park.

Tyres for Round 2 at Wakefield Park can also be ordered by downloading the ASBK Tyre Order Form by clicking HERE and emailing it through to sales@linkint.com.au.

Tyres have now also been homologated for all production classes, including the new R3 Cup. This includes the championship winning Diablo Rosso II HR, as well as the introduction of the Diablo Supercorsa SC also for this class in new sizes.
