Round seven of 2025 ASBK Championship to be held at One Raceway

By MA Media 0

Following its successful return to the mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul (ASBK) calendar in 2024, One Raceway will be back for more in 2025.

The Goulburn circuit will host the penultimate round of the ASBK Championship for the second consecutive year, this time from October 3-5.

After a multi-million-dollar transformation, which included new and improved turns, a complete resurface, safety and tech upgrades, new paddock infrastructure and more spectator-friendly viewing, ASBK returned to the 2.32km One Raceway this year after a two-year hiatus – the first major championship of any motorsport persuasion in Australia to christen the new facility.

The racing across the weekend was quintessential One Raceway: tight and tough, and with more passing opportunities than ever before on the revised layout.

Saturday also enjoyed a carnival atmosphere when Supercars driver Broc Feeney – son of former Aussie Superbike hard-charger Paul Feeney – cut laps around the circuit in his Red Bull Ampol Racing cars as part of reopening festivities.

In 2025, the Superbike, Supersport, Supersport 300 and Oceania Junior Cup classes will compete at One Raceway as the ASBK Championship approaches the ‘make or break’ part of the season with only one round to follow.

One Raceway Chief Operating Officer, Greg Shelley:
“After the transformation to One Raceway over the last two years, the return of the ASBK Championship in 2024 goes down as one of my proudest professional moments.

“It was simply a brilliant weekend of entertainment, and just last month we also hosted the Australian Historic Road Race Championship which was another successful event.

“It goes without saying we’re delighted to see the ASBK paddock return in 2025.”

Motorcycling Australia CEO, Peter Doyle:
“What the Shelley family has done at One Raceway deserves massive recognition, and we’re proud to announce the ASBK Championship is returning there in 2025.

“After the transformation the circuit’s gone to another level for all stakeholders, and we look forward to the relationship between One Raceway and the ASBK Championship continuing for many years.”
