After hosting the gripping season-ending round of the 2023 mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul (ASBK), The Bend will do it all again in 2024 from November 8-10.The seventh round of the 2024 ASBK Championship will be a full-house affair, with all the classes – Alpinestars Superbike, Michelin Supersport, Supersport 300, bLU cRU Oceania Junior Cup and Sureflight Superbike Masters – to conclude their seasons around the searching 4.95km international circuit.Next year will be the third in a row where The Bend will bookmark the ASBK Championship, with the memories still fresh from the memorable 2023 event where all the classes came down to the wire.

The Bend, which was officially opened in 2018, is one of the premier circuits in the world. The 18-turn international layout used in the ASBK Championship provides massive variety – blind turns, sweeping corners, hard braking zones and areas for maximum acceleration – which is a formidable test for riders and a bonanza for spectators. The infrastructure, corporate and spectator facilities at The Bend are second to none in Australia, which means all the off-track ASBK activities – Welcome Centre displays, fan zone, the ASBK Trade Alley, ‘Mini Moto come and try’ sessions, autograph sessions and pitlane walks – are also extremely popular.

Peter Doyle, the CEO of Motorcycling Australia:“In just a short five years The Bend has cemented itself as a world-class facility, and we’re proud to continue our partnership via the ASBK Championship.“The circuit is not only spectacular for riders, but it’s brilliant for the fan experience as well. It’s simply a wonderful place to complete the ASBK season and we look forward to returning in 2024.”Alistair MacDonald, CEO, The Bend: “We cannot wait to welcome back Australia’s premier two-wheel racing category to The Bend on November 8-10 next year.“The plentiful crowd that gathered for the 2023 event once again showcased the unwavering support for the event, the championship and the venue.“The event delighted numerous fans with some of the closest and most thrilling races witnessed in recent times, further establishing itself as a highlight on the calendar.”
