Spokes.com.au presents ASBK Round 7 at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit

The highly anticipated Spokes.com.au presents Round 7 finale of the 2017 Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul Pirelli (ASBK) is due to kick-off at the famous Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit October 06-08.

A partnership between Motorcycling Australia (MA) and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) has already seen Spokes.com.au present Round 3 at Winton Motor Raceway in April, and will continue the partnership with the final round of the 2017 ASBK at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

The Spokes.com.au website is designed by riders, for riders, primarily focusing on rider safety, support and awareness on the roads.

Spokes staff will be on hand to provide information to Superbike fans in the ASBK paddock, as well as offering the chance for some lucky racegoers to win a suite of prize giveaways. Promotions onsite will include a game card competition to win a $1000 protective clothing voucher, plus there are spinning wheel prizes including 12 pairs of gloves and five sets of boots up for grabs across the weekend. There is also Spokes merchandise with each game card entry.

TAC road safety director Samantha Cockfield said the partnership is a great opportunity to talk to riders about the information available to them on the Spokes website.

“There is so much happening in the world of bike safety and enhancements in protective gear.”

“This is a great chance for us to work with riders to make sure they’re across the latest information to keep them safe on the roads,” Ms Cockfield said.

MA CEO Peter Doyle is elated that to have the Spokes.com.au name as part of the Phillip Island Round.

“MA is very pleased to have TAC and Spokes join the ASBK in 2017. Safety is of significant importance to MA and we are looking forward to helping Spokes spread their important messages.” Mr Doyle said.

The Spokes.com.au website has information for riders on licensing, the latest bike technologies, safe riding tips and includes a comprehensive buying guide for the latest motorcycle safety gear.
